Time and again, we say that our weaves are more than just fabric—they are heartwoven, filled with stories of craftsmanship, culture, and community. But what happens when a beloved piece no longer fits, suits your style, or simply spends more time in your closet than being worn? Instead of letting it sit unused, fade and forgotten in your cabinet’s corners, why not give it a second life?
In 2018, we launched the Weave Exchange as part of our circularity programs in an effort to “close the loop” with our Proud Weave Wearers. It’s an opportunity for them to return their pre-loved ANTHILL pieces that they are no longer able to or want to wear—a way to circulate, extend, and maximize the life of our handwoven pieces. In exchange, they get gift cards that they can use on their next purchase.
How It Works

Let Your Weaves Live On – Select ANTHILL pieces that you no longer wear but are still in great condition.

Exchange with Intention – Drop them off at our gallery or any pop-ups or send them to us, and we’ll carefully inspect and refresh them.

Earn Credits, Find New Favorites – Receive store credits to use toward a new weave that speaks to your current style.

Why It Matters
The Weave Exchange is our commitment to fashion circularity and sustainability. Every piece exchanged keeps textiles out of landfills, reduces demand for new production, and honors the craftsmanship of our artisan partners. This is more than just a trade-in program—it’s a movement. A movement that values longevity over trends, impact over impulse, and a deeper relationship with the pieces we own.
As of 2024, we have received around 32 pieces, these items along with their stories and nostalgic memories go to our REWEAVE Collection, our always-loved line. This program has led us to foster growth among our community of Proud Weave Wearers, making our weaves more accessible to all. We also nurture a deeper connection within our community—one where we collectively care for and extend the journey of each weave.
