Super Inday Art

Super Inday is a transformative project stemming from Palangga Prison Art: Triple Lockdown Showdown, showcasing artwork created by women artists as Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) in in the Iloilo City District Jail Female Dormitory. Through tapestry, collage, embroidery, and beadwork, these women express their stories, pain, and resilience. "Inday," meaning sister in Ilonggo, reflects their identity and community ties.

Super Inday artworks symbolize survival, nurturing, and the quest for freedom amidst confinement. This restorative cultural enterprise empowers women to reclaim their lives and voices through art.
