KAPWA X Piesa

//KAPWA//: a cultural concept of interconnectedness and the recognition of a shared identity. It signified our relationship as friends and creative collaborators with Piesa. Through the years, Piesa has supported our circularity efforts by using our scrap weaves and in turn, this has expanded her designs to exploring woven fabric as material.

This collection shows the similarities and differences of each weave and of each piece, and what makes them unique. The intertwined cords mirror the woven connection of the warp and weft of the fabric, also representing our deep connection to others —your Kapwa.
