The Mariposa Tapis is a graceful ode to nature’s beauty, crafted from lustrous piña seda and adorned with butterfly appliqués made of abaca silk, naturally dyed with plants such as mahogany bark, sappan leaves, and turmeric root. Each appliqué is naturally dyed in hues drawn from the earth and carefully hand-sewn with love and intention. Worn as a wrap skirt or one-shoulder top, it flows with ease and elegance—a timeless piece woven from natural fibers, carrying stories of heritage and transformation.
