WOW Tarpaulin Totes
The WOW Tarpaulin Tote is a practice tote crafted by women artisans in Passi, Iloilo, trained to turn waste into durable everyday bags as part of the Iloilo Province and UNDP’s Weave Out Waste campaign under the PH Plastic Circularity Project supported by Coca-Cola Foundation.
This tote is made from upcycled tarpaulins—post-election banners and old campaign materials transformed into something useful and lasting. Each piece is block-printed with Iloilo icons like Miagao Church, sugarcane, and pineapple—a reminder that when waste is reclaimed, value is re-woven back into communities.
Limited pieces only. Each tote carries the gentle quirks of a learning hand. These are practice pieces from our artisans’ skills training, bearing small imperfections.
