The past three years of crisis after crisis led us to honour the power of pause and rethink the way we work individually and collectively as a team, as one community. The uncertainty and constant change demanded flexibility in work strategies and roles. Everyone carried multiple hats and explored new skills, sometimes at the risk of hitting close to burn out and decision fatigue. Slow was the only way to go. We had to go back to our foundation- our values, culture and continuing education. In all honesty, we didn't think we would make it through. Yet here we are- we made it again and again and again!

Introspection was the gift that brought forth lessons through the years carrying nuggets of wisdom that powered us through and allowed us to weave forward. We learned about ourselves, and about each other. We learned from the community and with the community.

LESSONS OF 2020

2020 was scary. Everyone was focused on survival and business continuity. As we committed to people over profit, resiliency meant the team making small and big sacrifices to work together for the greater good.

LESSONS OF 2021

2021 was simplifying. Necessary difficult decisions to end our Ready to Wear line and close our in house production were made to create space and expand in other ways. We embraced our limitations and leveraged on our strengths.

LESSONS OF 2022

2022 was total surrender. Change has been the beat of our growth and we learned to let go of things out of our control. Success didn't come in scale, targets or numbers, but in a harmonious communal spirit lived out in the activation of bayanihan among our stakeholders.

It has truly been a roller coaster of emotions. Through it all, we anchored ourselves on the gift of gratitude for this community's presence and support. Our learning journey with you fueled growth and inspiration as we continue to pursue our impact and sustainability goals. Let’s keep weaving dreams!
